Product Manager Responsibilities Position Description:
- Monitor product performance and consistency of their product(s).
- Personally monitor product testing results via Infinity/SAP every day of production.
- Ensure that the correct specification limits are in Infinity/SAP to alert Inspectors to out-of-spec situations.
- Lead the correction of out-of-control situations or escalate if necessary.
- Regularly analyze product data for trends or changes in variability, work to understand or correct.
- Ensure that any non-conforming material is quickly isolated, segregated and prevented from shipment offsite.
- Implements & maintains the Quality System for their product(s).
- Provides/maintains accurate and up-to-date raw material specs based on CoA’s.
- Provides raw material test procedure and specs where needed.
- Provides product testing procedures and specs consistent with WW QS where possible.
- Performs gage R&R studies to determine the suitability of test methods.
- Monitor NCFs and ensure that QMT responsibilities are being completed.
- Request a double-check on clear & sort if an at-risk concern is present
- Lead recall activities if required.
- Monitor MT and recalled inventories.
- Regularly monitor product testing performance
- Monitor the test results on local control plates (and international if applicable) for any variation in test performance.
- Provide testers with tools to know if the test is in-control and what to do if it is not.
- Lead the manufacturing investigation into customer complaints on their product(s).
- Work with ATAG, Sales and Customers to resolve the issues.
- Lead or participate in projects involving new raw materials, new processes or equipment, or commercialization of new products under their responsibility.
- Act as liaison for the site in interactions with field service engineers and product support specialists.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office suite experience preferred.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, development, or technical support of litho plates is preferred.
- Ability to detect and classify cosmetic/functional defects on plates.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of Kodak operations team, leadership, quality, supply chain and others as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to create/present data to teams to support quality initiatives, give updates on the quality management system and support incident investigations.
- Experience in lean manufacturing processes.
- Lead product incident investigations using 8D, fishbone diagrams, 5-why and other investigation and problem-solving methods.
- BS degree in the chemistry or engineering or applicable experience in the print industry.
Salary : $74,900 - $94,800
