We are currently in search of a Gift Processing Associate for an Independent School.The position isHybrid basedin Bethesda, MD. This is a full-time, temporary to permanent assignment.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: Independent School
LOCATION: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid 1-2 days/week in office)
POSITION TITLE: Gift Processing Associate
SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week
DURATION: Temporary to Permanent
HOURLY RATE: $25.00 - $27.00
Is This Your Dream Job? The Gift Processing Associate is responsible for processing all gifts to the school, including acknowledgement letters. This role does require proof of COVID-19 vaccination. This could be a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate, with an estimated salary of $60-$70k, depending on experience. We are also open to candidates who might only be interested on a temporary basis.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· 2 years of gift entry experience required
· Raiser’s Edge experience required
· COVID-19 vaccination required
How You Will Spend Your Day:
· Process and acknowledge all gifts, pledges, pledge payments, stock gifts, matching gifts, memorial gifts, in honor gifts, and other contributions to the school in a timely manner
· Ensure data integrity through accurate data entry and ongoing clean-up efforts
· Maintain and update biographical information in Raiser’s Edge, including, but not limited to new donor records, name and address changes, and coding
· Provide social media and e-communications support for alums and development staff
· Conduct daily news searches using print and electronic resources to both proactively identify prospects and update research on existing prospects and update records accordingly
· Works with the Director(s) to research prospects through avenues of social media, IWave, Windfall, and other research platforms
· Maintain volunteer records and support volunteers in their work in the Development Office
· Assist with collecting and editing Class Notes for the monthly newsletter and bi-annual magazine
· Support the Development Department with fundraising events
· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development and the School
