REGISTERED NURSE - LONG TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC)

Here at CareerStaff Unlimited, we are currently looking to hire a Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse for a 13 week contract position in Oxford, FL! Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of recent LTAC experience, a strong focus on patient care, and feel confident in evaluations and working with a multi-disciplinary team. MORE ABOUT THE RN REGISTERED NURSE – LONG TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC) POSITION:

  • Receive admission and/or transfers to the unit
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Timely and accurate documentation
  • Interpret assessments / diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
  • Promote continuous quality improvement
  • Respond to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
  • Act as a patient advocate while providing education and support to patients and their families
  • Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE – LONG TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC) POSITION:

  • Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience
  • Valid RN license in Florida
  • Advanced MS/Tele experience preferred
  • Basic Life support (BLS) and ACLS certification required
  • Experience with Trachs, Vents, Hemodymanics, Critical Drips, ET Tubes and Wound Care
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
