Our client is seeking a Screen Printing Press Operator.
Earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. Work 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
Job Description:
- Operate a Silk Screen Press
- Perform the operations of make-ready, run of jobs
- Handle paperwork as required in the pressroom
- Maintenance and up-keep of the assigned screen press and screen frame cleanliness after production
- Work to ensure quality and consistency with-in production
- Check and optimize ink drying with minimum sheet distortion following set parameters
- Minimize the waste and to guarantee the best possible quality
- Manage the press helper, if provided one
- May be needed to train new employees
- Ensure quality and consistency in production
- Follow safety, security and audit compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Screen Printing or any type of printing. i.e.; operator, helper
- Have mechanical aptitude
- Must be able and willing to learn new methods and systems
- Follow all rules of conduct, safety and directions from superiors
