CarePortal is currently searching for a full-time Quality Assurance Lead who is based out of the Greater Kansas City area in Kansas or Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Analyze functional, non-functional, and technical requirements to determine and define testing scope.
- Review test results for quality assurance to confirm acceptance criteria is met for user acceptance testing.
- Execute manual and automated testing for regression and new feature development.
- Conduct a comprehensive range of testing types, including visual, functional, content, compatibility, interface, and performance testing.
- Support in the creation and maintenance of project documentation around development processes, architecture, and testing practices.
- Support in the creation of software tools to facilitate testing.
- Lead monthly meetings to review recent bugs and evaluate current QA practices.
- Effectively convey all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedules, along with technical and process issues.
- Collaborate with developers and project members to implement effective QA plans.
Qualifications
- 1 years: Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Exceptional attention to detail for finding bugs and breaking software.
- Experience working in an Agile development process.
- Detail-oriented nature ensuring tasks are carried out with precision.
- Mastery in conveying technical nuances in a comprehensible manner.
- Knowledge of SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design (Laravel strong plus)
- Experience with Automated Test Scripting (BrowserStack, Selenium)
- Experience in Laravel, Blade, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern style libraries (i.e., Bootstrap, Tailwind, Bulma), and front end frameworks (i.e., Livewire, React, Angular, Vue)
- Strong decision-making ability, with a focus on pragmatism and delivering value.
- Customer-centric mindset, always considering the user perspective when making decisions.
