What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Specialist position at CareRev?
We are looking for a strong candidate to join our Customer Success team. As a Credentialing Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring compliance of all professionals onboarded on to the platform. To be successful in this role, a candidate must be able to work independently and have a strong background in compliance with preferred healthcare experience. We are looking for someone with strong critical thinking, problem solving, and cross-functional teamwork skills who can complement our fast-paced, innovative team!
What You’ll Do:
- Collect, upload, and audit professional documentation such as: resumes, licenses/ diplomas, and certifications
- Communicate with medical professionals to support compliance
- Monitor and track upcoming credential renewal dates
- Maintain active status for all professionals by successfully completing initial and subsequent credentialing packages as required by hospitals
- Consult and inform professionals of any changes in facility compliance policies
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Support team members to foster a strong sense of community and information sharing
- Track quantitative user and pipeline feedback to Customer Success Manager and Operational Success Manager to provide relevant recommendations
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
- Robust knowledge of common medical records e.g. physicals, vaccines, titers, drug screens, background checks, etc.
- Flexibility, a creative mindset when solving problems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Effective communication and relationship building skills
- Intermediate skill set in Excel and related programs
- Preferred experience in health-tech startups
