Apply today.Requirements for Registered Nurse RN, Emergency DepartmentMinimum of 2 years full-time experience as an ED RN within the last year.APRNs who apply must have recent bedside experience under RN scope of practice.Strong ability to use independent, critical judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery.Competency in current emergency room evidence-based practices such as sepsis & stroke care protocols as well as familiarity with conditions such as severe lacerations, burns, sports injuries, and allergic reactions.Must show competency with triage, conscious sedation administration, rapid/code response, and common bedside procedures. Trauma experience preferred.Experience with the behavioral health patient population is a plus!Credentials: Current RN license and good standing with the Illinois State Board of Nursing.Current AHA BLS certification. ACLS, PALS, and/or NIHSS certifications may be required prior to first shift. CPI certification may be required to be obtained within 90 days of the first shift.Rates are subject to change without prior notice and are driven by the marketplace and facility needs. Assigned rates fall within listed ranges.
