What you will be doing?

The residential house manager will oversee everyday functioning of the Women’s residential program for Britelife Recovery. Responsible for employee support; achieving positive outcomes, consumer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and overall program operations. Residential House Manager (RHM) will ensure efficient program activities’ coordination by working closely with Britelife leadership. RHM will function as a role model and an effective leader for the residence, using teamwork as the foundation for the effective functioning of the program. In this role you will provide day to day oversight of the operation and staffing of women’s residential treatment program

What tasks are required?

  • Providing administrative oversight of the facility's services while on shift. 
  • Manages daily program schedule of activities and ensures all participants complete tasks in a timely manner. 
  • Assisting the leadership team in developing and maintaining written objectives, policies and procedures related to facility services. 
  • Ensuring that the facility complies with required staffing patterns. 
  • Participating in staff orientation and staff education activities. 
  • Performing efficiently in emergency patient situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate personnel, and documenting events. 
  • Positively promotes Britelife Recovery to prospective clients and employees. 
  • Ensure evening programming and duties assigned to staff are communicated effectively and completed as needed. 
  • Reviews internal and external scheduled client appointments for assigned shifts and ensures that trips are dispatched promptly. 
  • Promote clear, direct, and healthy staff communication patterns. 
  • Maintains a positive relationship with staff, residents, external client services and business development teams , and other Britelife contacts. 
  • Continually inspect buildings, grounds and common areas to identify needed preventative maintenance, to ensure that the buildings and common areas are clean, grounds are being properly maintained and to identify current and potential safety hazards.

What we need from you?

  • Job Type: FULL TIME
  • High School Diploma
  • Preferred, 1 year of SUD experience
  • Preferred, Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) or similar certification, or willingness to pursue
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Growth mindset
  • Complete annual education requirements.
  • Maintains standards of professional society procedures and ethical behavior.
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Wear identification while on duty.
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of the organization.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs during emergency drills or situations.
  • Has no mental, nervous, organic, or functional disease or psychiatric disorder likely to interfere with his/her ability to drive safely (I.E. holding a medical marjuana card.)
