Job Summary:
The Manager, Talent Planning is responsible for collaborating with HR and business leaders to assess, develop and drive the employee lifecycle strategy including workforce planning, employee learning & development, and identifying solutions to promote individual, team and organizational talent readiness.
Essential Functions:
- Advise and collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement core talent review and succession planning processes to drive near- and long-term business performance outcomes.
- Partner with business leaders and HR business partners to drive talent reviews throughout the business to create succession and development plans for increase talent readiness for market and business growth, key and niche roles and anticipated talent gaps.
- Implement and drive high impact development planning tools to enhance talent readiness, promote visibility of talent across the organization and measure impact of solutions.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to integrate and leverage job-level competencies across Talent and HR processes including talent reviews, succession planning, development and career planning, and new employee assimilation.
- Assess that talent best practices include technology strategies, processes and tools that are simple, effective and drive business results.
- Analyze data gathered to inform targeted leader development and talent readiness and utilization.
- Ensure organization-wide talent management solutions focus and align with operational initiatives and programs.
- Communicate regularly with HR and business leaders regarding learning and development needs, solicit feedback, monitor, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Coach business leaders to facilitate individual and team development and learning to drive talent readiness and utilization.
- Partner with HR leaders to influence and implement diversity, equity and inclusion strategies that support diversity at all levels across the organization.
- Guide and direct the Talent Planning team to successfully complete daily tasks and projects
- Interview, select and train new team members
- Conduct performance management activities for direct reports, to include one-on-one meetings, annual performance appraisals and discipline as appropriate
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in human resources or management or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
- Master's Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years training and development experience working with all levels of organization is required
- A minimum of two (2) years of management experience, preferably in Human Resources, is preferred

$76,700.00 - $122,700.00
