About us
CareSphere has been established in 1981. it was previously known as RX home care. In Jan 2020 it was acquired by CareSphere and we have since expanded to many different counties. We have an overload of cases in our home counties of Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe county but are now expanding to the rest of the counties and cases are coming in every dav.
We are looking for direct care workers who are compassionate and have a high degree of patience and a genuine interest in helping people. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, medical conditions or substance abuse problems. Our direct care workers work with individuals who require personal assistance on a regular basis, so we're looking for those who are capable of creating warm, trusting relationships and helping others to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Help people with daily tasks and ordinary personal needs, such as bathing and grooming.
- Support people with serious medical conditions, such as diabetes and cancer.
- Help people get to needed medical appointments.
- Provide counseling to those who need help dealing with their personal or family problems.
- Offer guidance and support to family members on how to provide care to a family member who needs help.
- Be on call during off hours to respond to emergencies that occur at night or on weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
