What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at CareVet?
Sunset Hill Veterinary and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a full time enthusiastic, veterinary assistant. We recently moved up the hill to a shiny new space with plenty of parking in the Crown Hill neighborhood.
The shifts we are looking to fill are: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:30a-6:30p and Saturday 7:45a-4:45p with up to an hour lunch break each day.
As we are a busy clinic, we are looking for candidates to have at least a year of experience working in a small animal veterinary clinic. We are passionate about clear communication with our clients so having the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their beloved pets is a very important quality for a candidate to offer.
This is a fast paced clinic; a candidate will succeed if they are able to process information efficiently without missing details.
A very short list of general practice responsibilities include: client communication, appointment scribe, holding for blood draws & urine samples, drawing blood, taking radiographs and general cleaning.
