What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer Blue Seal position at CareWell Health?
Engineer Blue Seal will maintain and operate boilers and mechanical equipment in the boiler room. They will also perform other general maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained.
Essential Functions:
⦠Performs preventive maintenance and assigned and scheduled by Supervisor
⦠Makes hourly or needed rounds and readings of plant equipment and record all logs
⦠Responds to calls or work orders pertaining to plant operation
⦠Endorses report to relief operator as to the condition of all equipment
⦠Reports equipment status or problems immediately to Supervisor
⦠Receives and monitors oil delivery and record readings
⦠Makes adjustments/repairs to equipment as necessary to maintain safe operation
⦠Checks and maintains boiler water treatment, runs daily tests to maintain set standards
⦠Operates one or more boilers. Supplies steam, hot water, and air conditioning to the entire facility.
⦠And whatever work or duties assigned by Supervisor
⦠Checks and tests water treatment, sets chemical test standards
⦠Blowdown boiler and column per set standard
⦠Checks and tests water safety alarm per State Requirement
⦠Records and documents gauge readings hourly as necessary
⦠Maintains and monitors Emergency Contractor readings

Minimum Education/Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience
One to five years’ experience in a hospital setting
Working Conditions
Risk of bodily injury through contact with moving instrumentation and body fluids.
