Job Summary

Transport blood and urine samples from the main hospital to the laboratory.

Essential Functions

  • Transport blood and urine specimens from the hospital emergency room and operating room to the laboratory
  • Ensure that all specimens are packaged for transport using a temperature-controlled container.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Transport all laboratory specimens in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and laboratory staff.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable and able to carry out work instructions and work independently.
  • Maintain records of sample transportation

Minimum Education/Certifications

High School Diploma

Valid Driver’s license

Minimum Work Experience
