Principal Accountabilities
This position is accountable to produce food safe product in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties include
Start up and shut down of a production line, making mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting equipment
Ensure all production paperwork is completed, which will require basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Responsible for containing and proactively addressing potential problems that may arise in an effort to limit disruptions to production
Ensuring all processing steps have been completed and a quality product is delivered to the customer (all food handler tasks were completed properly; i.e. proper packaging, weights are in acceptable range) including assisting Food Handlers as needed
Maintain adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Follow and champion personal and food safety policies and procedures as well as reporting any and all concerns or violations to the Leadership Team
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Ability to perform basic math such as Addition, Subtraction, Division, and Multiplication- Must have basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends and/or holidays as needed
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
Previous food manufacturing experience- Previous experience with leading teams
- Previous experience with SAP or advanced computer skills
