PIT is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. Examples of roles within this position are loading bins of product onto trucks to be shipped, emptying plastic bins and bringing empty bins to the chillers scales to be filled, moving waste/trash, unloading/loading batteries for PIT, all while making safety the number one priority. While performing the duties of PIT, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cold environment. Positions require standing and sitting down throughout the shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Perform repetitive tasks. Examples include:
- Operate PIT
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Cleanliness and housekeeping
Required Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous production experience
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
