OVERVIEW

Caribou Thunder is seeking a UX Consultant IV to support a national defense contract. This role will work on-site in a classified environment to develop custom applications as well as integrate commercial and government capabilities into DoD products.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 

• BS plus 9 years of experience
• OR Masters plus 7 years of experience
• OR PhD plus 4 years of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide research, stakeholder discovery, and conducts interviews prior to software development to create proper requirements and designs for software developers.
• Develop high fidelity designs and process outlines for developers and leadership. Creates prototypes for and from feedback from users and stakeholders.
• Provide design validation testing throughout the design phase. Creates a design management system for the project/client.
• Initiate design handshakes and hand offs (pre- and mid-design phase).
• Work with the business/stakeholders to identify drivers, constraints, and floats.
• Determine risks and develop strategies to mitigate risk.
• Work with internal and external teams to align and manage the development process while navigating politics and avoiding roadblocks.
