Registered Nurse

Currently looking for a dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a part time position at Caring Corner. The ideal licensed RN candidate will hold a degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and have Pediatric experience.
Responsibilities of Registered Nurse
- Provide and direct hands-on care for patients.
- Direct care for patients practicing within established standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of care delivery process by recognizing and evaluating changes in patient status and giving complete and accurate information to appropriate practitioners.
- Obtain, write, communicate and follow supplemental orders in timely fashion adjusting patient’s plan of care as their care needs evolve.
- Perform critical monitoring of all aspects of the patient’s course of service including psychological, nutritional, and physical and community resource needs.
- Notify physicians of change in patient status and possible need to change the plan of care.
- Correctly perform technical hands on nursing skills including but not limited to: wound care, suctioning, Ng/g tube, foley cath management, IV therapy, assessment skills, lab draws, and trach care.
- Perform all other Floor Supervisor duties as needed.
Requirements of Registered Nurse
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Current California RN license
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Current CPR certificate
- Valid Driver’s license
- Flexible schedule
- Working knowledge of nursing policies and procedures, and patient/family relationships
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with patients, families, physicians, community resources and the general public
- Physically able to perform job duties
