Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests
- Explain menu and answer product questions
- Prepare, assemble, and package menu items
- Unpacking and store incoming inventory deliveries
- Accept payment from guests and make changes correctly
- Presents orders to guests, properly package with necessary condiments and utensils
- Generates additional sales by suggesting other menu items
- Responsible for verifying register and the beginning of shift
- Stock adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments beverages
- Clean, restock, and organize kitchen, dining, and storage areas
- Informs management when equipment needs service or inventory is needed
- Adhere to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and required
- Work effectively with co-workers to achieve company standards and expectations
- Prepping drinks and assisting in prepping items such as sauces, salads, produce, etc
- Use specific kitchen machinery/equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers, etc.
- Clean and maintain equipment to company standards and follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Cleaning duties include clearing tables, sweeping, mopping floors, washing, sanitizing and disinfecting
- Operate the cash register and is responsible for cash receipts; Follows company guidelines for cash controls
- Abide by the company policies and directives given by the restaurant management team as needed
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Authorization to work in the US
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance and adhering to the uniform policy
- One year of restaurant or customer service experience (preferred not required)
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays (preferred not required)

- Possess a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate to perform assigned duties
- Effective communicator with co-workers and the restaurant management team
- Ability to handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly
