Position Summary:
The Carle Medical Supply (CMS) Repair and Maintenance Technician I is responsible for all repairs performed by Carle Medical Supply and by repair staff for the Urbana, Mattoon, and Danville locations. This position provides services for both capital and customer-owned equipment.

Essential Functions:
- Answers incoming repair calls, provides troubleshooting techniques, makes repair/service calls outside store in customer homes as requested.
- Develops and maintains catalogs on manufacturer's schedules and repair processes.
- Ensures that customer-owned equipment has been repaired on schedule and is returned to customer as promised with appropriate charges.
- Maintains and develops a computerized inventory and database on all equipment repaired.
- Provides equipment repair services as authorized and qualified. Maintains accurate repair reports for all equipment repairs.
- Repairs and provides preventative maintenance for 3 branches.
- Utilizes all manufacturer's warranty options as applicable for both rental equipment and customer-owned equipment repairs.
