Carle Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Psychiatry team in Danville, Illinois.

Position Details Include:

  • Monday – Friday, 8a - 5p schedule; option for 10 hour shifts
  • Established, outpatient clinical practice
  • Opportunity to work in a rural, underserved community
  • Psychiatric NP will cover a range of patient cases including consults with new patients, ongoing care, medication management
  • Collaboration with psychiatrist
  • Opportunity to provide care in partnership with local community mental health center
  • NHSC-certified site in Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) that qualifies for federal loan repayment programs

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Current Illinois registered nurse license, advanced practice nurse licensure, and psychiatric certification
  • Must have mental health assessment experience, positive communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with the health care team, and excellent customer service skills
