JOB GOAL: To provide the highest standards of nutrition to CMSD students.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Attend job-related training classes and workshops.
- Meet applicable physical requirements as specified.
- Assists in maintaining the required system of accountability.
- Practices correct and established procedures in food preparation, use and care of equipment, and personal habits to assure that sanitation standards are met.
- Follows standards of safety in preparing, storing, and serving food.
- Follows the Food Service Manager's instructions in producing and serving food.
- Follows the Food Service Manager's instructions in portioning, garnishing, production and serving of meals.
- Supervises food service staff in their daily routine to train food service staff in correct procedures of producing and serving food.
- Performs the duties of Food Service Manager when she is absent.
- Participates in implementing promotion of special school and community activities consistent with board policy.
- Follows procedures in personnel matters.
- Participates in the implementation of cost containment measures while maintaining quality.
- Must be able to be kind, courteous, and cordial to their fellow workers and the students they serve.
- Other duties as assigned.
