The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a unique global network of policy research centers in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and United States, is seeking a detail-oriented communications assistant to join its communications team in Washington, DC.
The communications assistant will oversee all administrative tasks for the communications team including scheduling, onboarding new scholars, billing and budget management, support for the events, and podcast coordination.
The position will also provide support for email drafting, event preparation and logistics, social media, and all other outreach efforts. This is an entry-level position, and the ideal candidate will be flexible and enthusiastic while working on a variety of different assignments and projects.
The ideal candidate should be organized with excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently to solve problems and complete projects quickly without sacrificing quality and accuracy. Strong writing and editing skills, as well as an interest in foreign policy issues, are essential. Knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver a plus.
