Description

Graphic Designer, Product Marketing

WHAT WE SEEK

At Carnegie Learning, we are on a mission to help students learn conceptually, understanding not only what the right answer is, but also why it’s right. Key to this mission are our products and we are looking for someone to help us tell our product story clearly and powerfully.

Specifically, we are looking for a Graphic Designer to own the design and visual identity of a wide range of product marketing materials. These materials span our four product verticals (math, literacy, world languages and services) and include product videos, product demos, product web pages, social posts, customer success stories, infographics, sales presentations, and sales collateral. This is a multi-dimensional design challenge: creating a unique and ownable promotional identity for each product while driving visual consistency across verticals and aligning to a new Carnegie Learning brand identity that is currently rolling out.  All while working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial corporate environment.

This is a full-time remote position reporting to our Art Director who leads design for the company.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Reviewing project briefs with your product marketing partners
  • Storyboarding and designing individual projects in partnership with one of our copywriters
  • Reviewing your designs with your product marketing partners to ensure they are on strategy

  • Presenting and selling your designs to a range of stakeholders including the CMO and CEO
  • Working closely with production to ensure your designs will be executed successfully
  • Wireframing, designing and prototyping product demo experiences
  • Attending design conferences and events to build your craft as a designer
  • Spending time using our products to get a true sense of the student and teacher experience
  • Interfacing with product designers to ensure marketing and product align
  • Reviewing examples of competitive materials to ensure our designs are cutting through

WHAT SHOULD BE IN YOUR BOOKBAG

  • Bachelor's degree in art, design or a related field
  • Min 5 years design experience
  • Openness to partnering with multiple team members and stakeholders
  • Must provide a portfolio of work demonstrating creativity and originality, with a strong talent for presenting various product lines under one corporate identity
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma
