WHAT WE SEEK
Carnegie Learning is seeking a Product Manager, Platform to join our Platform team. The Product Manager will support the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of CLs K-12 platforms that underpin our Mathematics, English Language Arts and World Languages Product Suites.
The Product Manager, Platform will focus initially on collaborating with CLs Product, Marketing, Sales and Engineering teams to design and execute on a highly curated, quality experience in support of state adoptions as well as other national sales efforts. This is a full-time position and will report to the Director of Product, Platform.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Facilitate and collect input from stakeholders (externally: administrators, teachers, students and parents; internally: Engineering, Instructional Design, Customer Service, Sales, Professional Learning, Marketing, Research & more) to build and prioritize product features and investments
- Participate as a Product Owner of a matrixed Scrum Team, collaborating with scrum leaders, designers, engineers, quality assurance and other stakeholders to document requirements and prioritize work for execution.
- Identify the platforms, products and product attributes that improve the teaching and learning experience for educators and students; Conduct usability testing, market analysis, and other research and discovery.
- Communicate information about complex concepts and projects in a digestible manner based on your audience.
- Actively support successful roll-outs of new initiatives at scale in complex customer environments.
- Develop subject matter expertise on CL platforms, systems, and technologies
WHAT SHOULD BE IN YOUR BOOKBAG
- BA/BS degree required, Masters preferred
- Proven experience in product management (3 years), Education industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge and experience with software product management and development approaches (Agile preferred)
- Enjoys and can demonstrate ability to work well in a highly matrixed, collaborative, creative and mission-driven environment
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, supporting your ability to make great product decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge.
- A thirst for educational innovation, while being up-to-date with the latest trends, policies and best practices in education and product management

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
