Machine Technician

Job Description

- Manage, track repairs and refurbishing of all incoming/ outbound equipment for Carolina BG

- Track and record all parts fittings, establish stock order and maintain inventory levels in conjunction with the Whse Supervisor

- Prepare all equipment and tools needed for customer installs

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

- To assist WS in areas of need within the warehouse. i.e. receiving weekly stock order, order pulling & loading, as well as inventory production

- Misc. support related to Equipment issues, Deliveries, Inventory counts as deemed necessary

- Any and all special needs will be addressed through WS or DD

- The position will report directly to Warehouse Supervisor (WS) and ultimately to Director of Distribution (DD)

Position Opportunities:

- Provide technician training on all equipment. This would include continuous retraining for the sales staff as well as training new hires within the company

- Potential to develop position into being fully responsible of parts department with control over all parts and fittings, as well as sole responsibility of building the weekly parts stock order

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Must have driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must past drug test
• Dependability is an absolute must, self-supervising and time management are crucial to this position
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and within general guidelines
• Computer literacy to include MS Office Suite and Inventory Control Programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
