Summary
This position will work to achieve sales and profit goals of parts and service by working with the sales representatives to enter information into a quoting tool (PSQ). They will also be responsible for entering information into the request for quote tool, analyze and update information and follow the quoting process from start to finish. This position will be to assist in tasks such as parts identification, scope of work quote maintenance and transitioning to correct department for scheduling.
Essential Functions
- Obtain Customers' Terms and Conditions before starting any quote.
- Manage the process in which Terms and Conditions are approved internally.
- Utilize and understand PSQ (Power Systems Quoter) and Service Link
- Utilize the RFQ tool (Request for quote) for tracking quote request.
- Work with the Sales Reps to meet due dates and validate the details.
- Manage due dates to all projects in your queue.
- Develop detailed project estimates and be a gatekeeper of all quoting responsibilities.
- Review drawings, specifications, technical documents submittals and research parts information, labor information, and miscellaneous charges Correspond with Sales Representatives and Service Management through the quote process for accuracy and feedback.
- Communicate with Parts Lead to ensure accuracy and timely manner of all equipment and parts necessary for executing each job.
- Track losses and assist the Sales Team identify trends.
- Weekly track outstanding status on quotes and inform the Sales Rep for follow-ups.
- Review and update CVA's (Customer Value Agreements) and/or MSA (Master Service Agreements).
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- Preferably 1-3 years' minimum industry experience and 1 sales experience with Power Systems equipment or Electrical.
- Excellent organizational, influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.
Excellent customer service and prospecting skills with the ability to approach the sales process creatively and in a professional and consultative manner. - Excellent leadership skills, including decision making, creative thinking and goal setting skills.
An excellent knowledge of the market and services performed with the ability to discuss the technical aspects of Power Systems equipment. - Excellent project management and conflict management skills with a good ability to manage change.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, Including influence and negotiation skills.
- Good problem solving skills and the ability to interpret policies, procedures and guidelines.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, data base systems (DBS) and a basic ability to operate industry specific PC programs.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
