Credentialing Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Specialist to join our team. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that healthcare professionals meet the necessary qualifications and standards to provide patient care. Your role will involve managing the credentialing process and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough credentialing verifications for healthcare professionals, including education, training, licensure, and work history - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and managed care requirements - Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information in the credentialing database - Communicate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any credentialing issues - Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of the credentialing process - Assist in conducting audits to ensure ongoing compliance with credentialing standards - Stay updated on industry changes and best practices related to credentialing Experience: - Previous experience with healthcare provider credentials - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Proficient in using computer systems and software applications for data entry and record keeping If you are a motivated individual with a passion for ensuring quality patient care through effective credentialing processes, we encourage you to apply.
