What are the responsibilities and job description for the Epic Professional Billing Analyst position at CaroMont Health?
Job Summary: Understand and provide input towards building and maintaining electronic relationships with the Epic application of Professional Billing. Research, validate and implement processes in order to provide build, workflow and access to the Professional Billing records in the Epic EMR. This will include learning Epic modules related to Professional Billing. Working with the Central Billing Office and points of billing through the CaroMont enterprise to build the appropriate integration while validating and implementing these changes. Assist in training Super-Users on the Professional Billing applications and creating written procedures to be used by all staff who utilizes the system.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field or I.T. certifications from a non-traditional school or equivalent experience in Information Technology field or equivalent years work experience required. Healthcare related background preferred. Requires traveling to gain appropriate certification from Epic in Professional Billing. Must pass Epic examinations and complete all training projects to satisfactory level within 4 months of hire. Prefer a bachelor's degree in Information Technology and prefer a healthcare related background.Excellent communication and presentation skills: (1) Strong problem solving skills and a collaborative approach to meeting clients' needs; (2) Highly self-motivated and self-directed; (3) Ability to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with scheduled deadlines; (4) Analytical skills with the ability to develop solutions derived from researching documentation; and (5) Proficient in MS-Office applications.
