What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrument tech position at CaroMont Health?

Job Summary : Supports the personnel engaged in all functions in sterile processing in accordance with established standards, including decontamination, surgical instrument processing, and sterilization.

Orders implants to complete instrument sets. Maintains integrity of instruments via repair or replace. Performs all functions in instrument processing.

Performs attendant duties and front desk duties as needed. Works under supervision of an RN.

Certification by Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) required. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers, self-motivated.
