What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist I position at CaroMont Health?
Job Summary: Must be flexible as position requires rotation among sites, rotating shifts as needed and the ability to work independently in MRI. Preforms MRI and other related procedures to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy and exercises professional judgment in performance of duties. Previous Siemens experience preferred.
Qualifications: Graduate of accredited radiology program. Registered by ARRT in Radiology with Modality Advanced level certification within 10 months of hire date. Experienced radiographer with competency and thorough knowledge of MRI principles including MRI safety and physics. On going participation in continuing education. Ability to understand and apply computer calculations. Must be able to use initiative and practice good judgment. Ability and desire to perform AIDET customer service skills for all MRI Imaging patients is required. Current BLS certification required.
