Field Based Position
Position Overview
The Field Service Technician positively interacts with customers to identify areas to improve their work. Territory will be primarily based in the Northeast, but may include other regions depending on customer demand.
- Responsibilities would include performing equipment installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibrations, and performance validations to documented standards.
- Travel is typically 75%-100% of a month.
- Travel schedules usually have our technicians home for weekends, with rare requests for traveling weekends.
- Field Service Technicians are equipped with a company cell phone, laptop, and credit card for travel expenses with full access to a technical pool of skilled internal resources for assistance while working in the field.
Qualifications
- ·High school diploma or GED and technical training, certification in a technical field.
- ·Experience with reading electrical schematics and other technical drawings.
- ·Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems in a field setting
- ·Requires excellent time management skills
- · Requires excellent verbal skills and the ability to interact with a sophisticated customer base
- · Ability to independently schedule and coordinate business travel
- · Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- · Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- · Valid driver’s license with clean driving history required
- Familiarity with MAS 90, Sage CRM, Word, and/or Excel a plus
- · Strong desire for continued growth and learning

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
