At Carriage House Door our custom wood doors are the envy of the industry and truly works of art! You will have the opportunity to work beside and learn from a 25 year veteran and skilled master craftsman in high end finishing.

We are growing and expanding andthe right candidate could be trained to lead and manager the finishing operations here at our Kansas City location.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleanin, sanding, and priming
• Apply paint, varnish and other finishes to surfaces according to project requirements.
• Select appropriate tools and materials for each project.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting finished work for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional painter preferred. (We will look past this if you have the right attitude and can prove your skills)
• Proficient in various painting techniques, including brush, roller and spray application.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions related to painting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
