We are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic Manager of Strategic Initiatives for the Global Service Operations team!
The Manager of Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for leading execution of key strategic initiatives for Carrier Global Service Operations. These high priority initiatives will drive growth and cost reductions and improve service delivery within the Global Service business. This position is responsible for developing a consistent approach for initiatives across the Global Service business as well as the operationalizing of all facets of strategic projects. The Manager will work closely with key partners across Regions and functions. This is a position that works in a complex organization to lead, manage and influence high value and high priority company initiatives, including Service Expansion, which will be the initial focus of the role.
The role will lead planning meetings, coordinate a wide range of stakeholders, and drive alignment and execution across departments and Regios. This is a highly visible role that impacts Service growth across Carrier Commercial HVAC.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop standard approach to the planning and execution of Global Service initiatives, beginning with the Global Service Expansion project.
- Maintains strong understanding of key strategic growth initiatives and provide updates to Senior Leadership Team as project status changes, interdependencies emerge, and ensure inter-team communication.
- Work with internal and external teams (3rd party consultants).
- Manage team members to ensure the completion of tasks in the most efficient and effective way possible in order to effect change within the organization.
- Manage assigned projects to completion using proven project management techniques to plan, initiate, monitor and control, and execute; these activities will include cross-functional partnering, team leadership, and periodic project status reporting and change management.
- Development and assist to deliver executive-level presentations, program updates, sets targets and timelines; interact with senior leadership.
- Manage all formal Strategic Initiative meetings schedules, agendas, topics, key questions, and all other internal processes.
- Work closely with operations teams to scope opportunities and develop work plans.
- Provide detailed reporting and analysis to the Operations team.
- Improves communication impacting Global Service vertical, Regions and CHVAC and adjust organizational culture to reflect effective operations/organizational goals.
- Provide project and program management support, as needed to various change management and transformation efforts.
- Program governance and prioritization
- Direct and lead programs with multiple layers, objectives, tasks, partners, requirements; assess and report on program/process efficiency.
