ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional with significant marketing experience in Data Centers to join the Global Commercial HVAC marketing team to lead the global marketing and sales channel communication efforts. This position will have direct communication with business leaders in all regions of the world and seek to implement best practice and collateral sharing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strong, collaborative, cross-functional relationships to successfully create strategic marketing programs and corresponding collateral.
- Simplify complex systems for market communications and collateral; project management, leadership, product development and creativity. Be able to present and explain in an effective and concise manner.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to establish objectives and goals for initiatives, including online functionality, design, usability and measurement of added value or impact.
- Drive sales results by developing technical and conceptual content for sales enablement, market research, brand and campaign strategy, and simplifying complex systems to capture audience and communicate value.
- Creates, maintains and interprets brand identity standards. Provides leadership and guidance for service marketing collateral and ensures company-wide standards are used for all customer facing materials.
- Ensures consistent design integrity and marketing collateral to support brand positioning within market and continuity with projects.
- In collaboration with our product team, champion new product concepts and development, educate both internal and external partners about the benefits of our building products and services.
- Work with stakeholders to help create purposeful marketing content and a solid digital presence.
- Lead content marketing and demand generation activities across various traditional and digital media channels to articulate the benefits of our products and services.
- Conceive and implement innovative marketing programs that drive demand with measurable results
- Track, measure and optimize the customer journey as it relates to product features and adoption of our services.
- Establishes and drives business strategies on the web, through e-commerce and towards social media.
TYPICAL EDUCATION:
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field with 10 years’ relevant marketing experience
- MA/MS degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field with 8 years relevant marketing experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Marketing experience with 10 years’ experience in roles of increasing responsibility, two-step channel experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact within a cross functional team of Engineering, Sales, Product Management and Marketing professionals
- Successful experience in leading teams and working in a matrix environment
- Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
- Sense of urgency, self-initiative, commitment, and sense of ownership
- Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
- Ability to travel ~10% to customer regional meetings, annual distribution conferences, customer or distributor site visits, and vendor/supplier visits.
