Carroll Motor Fuels Student Internship Program is now offering paid internship opportunities. We intend to expand our local opportunities for students from all backgrounds who are pursuing post-secondary degrees. All our compensated internships provide opportunities to gain experience and insight into the business of petroleum supply as our employees work to advance their personal experiences and hone their skills.

Our program consists of a minimum of at least 120 hours of exposure to sales, human resources, legal, logistics, safety, branded, environmental, accounting and IT projects.  You’ll be given hands-on, self-driven projects that make a real business impact. Throughout the weeks you’ll work one-on-one with a department manager and have access to learning experiences, and professional development opportunities. With our focus on cross-functional collaboration and interdepartmental training, you get to see how your skills make a difference across departments.

This Position:

We are interested in a college student studying Business, Communications, Accounting, Legal, IT/Computer Science, Sales and Human Resources who wants to gain experience while being trained in a business development team. If you are currently enrolled in college, we will work around your schedule.  This Internship is at least 120 hours and may yield a permanent full-time role to the right candidate.

Our Two Locations are in the Curtis Bay, and Sparks Glencoe, Maryland.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Computer skills in Microsoft Applications - Intermediate/Advanced Level Excel skills are required, Outlook & Word preferred; will provide applicable training.
• Great attitude with a willingness to learn, attention to detail to get the job done right the first time
• Must have strong work ethic and team building skill

Working Conditions:

• This position generally works business hours.
• Office/share workspace environment. Moderate conversational noise level at times.
