What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Back position at Carson Nugget?
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision creates a casino experience that meets or exceeds guests' expectations by stocking bars, stations and coolers; maintains casino liquor storage room; maintains bar storage room; maintains a clean, orderly and well-stocked bar; and performs other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (This class specification may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties that may be performed.)
Create the highest standards of guest service by replenishing bar supplies including liquor, beer, CO2 and other beverage tanks, ice, glassware, dishes and consumable supplies to all bars and alcohol venues on a timely basis during the shift to ensure a casino experience that meets or exceeds guests' expectations.
Maintain the appearance of bar and lounge areas by cleaning and resetting bars and related areas; emptying ashtrays; stocking and removing glassware and related supplies such as ice , napkins and straws in order to practice the highest standards of WE ROCK guest service.
Wash all glasses, utensils, and related preparation/serving items by following approved sanitation and safety guidelines, including operate commercial dishwasher; inspect, dry and store all cleaned items properly to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service.
Maintain adequate liquor inventory by receiving, counting, properly storing and recording alcohol deliveries in order to adjust and replenish stock, which supports food and beverage and administrative activities.
Lessen liability and potential problems by observing the demeanor of guests in order to determine levels of intoxication and take appropriate remedial actions including notifying security, cutting off service and/or ordering alternate transportation.
Respond to guests' questions, using the Quick Reference Guide, providing information about casino gaming promotions, special and other events and/or programs in order to assist guests, advertise marketing campaigns and encourage guest attendance and participation.
Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner to provide information within the area of assignment.
Must be 21 years of age or older at time of application. Must be able to obtain Gaming Employee Registration in the State of Nevada. Must be able to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification.
