We have fun and make real connections with one another and with the brands we serve.       The Role:    The Security Guard will be responsible for using protocol to greet facility guests, assigning the proper security badge to each visitor, monitoring the interior and exterior of the facility and reporting any suspicious activity to the local police department immediately. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in security and a professional disposition. The schedule for this position is 3:45p-12:15a Monday through Friday. What You’ll Do:  Monitor all day-to-day activities and ensure all security processes and procedures are being carried out Work assigned post orders daily Greet and maintain badge system for all visitors Answer the phone during off hours Proper inspection of building and grounds to ensure safety Perform bag inspections on all employees / visitors exiting the facility   Who You Are:  You possess basic computer skills Ability to read and write English Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company Post Orders You can work independently and collaboratively High school graduate/GED Reliable transportation required Ability to work nights and weekends appropriate to facility needs   What You’ve Done:  2 years of Loss Prevention retail experience required Nice to Haves:   Knowledge in the operation of CCTV systems State Security Guard certification where applicable   Physical Demands & Working Conditions:    Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.). Able to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items) Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time Able to work overtime Periodic exposure to heavy machinery/equipment and changing environmental conditions Cart.com is an equal opportunity employer.
