# The challenges you'll help to tackle
- Support all of our investment vehicle accounting and tax processes and go on to play a pivotal role in automating these processes.
- Participate in global regulatory and corporate filings across our key jurisdictions (UK, Europe and US) through innovative solutions.
- Help transform post-close deliverables such as distributions, redemptions, and transfers.
- Build new workflows and processes to scale our products and their ongoing administration.
# The opportunity you'll have
You will have the opportunity to help administer investment vehicles through innovative solutions, on behalf of the most talented venture capitalists, fund managers and dealmakers in the world. You will help them realise their ambitions of supporting the companies of tomorrow through our next-gen investment stack (including legals, vehicle formation, banking, investor onboarding and much more).
You will be supporting specific projects and initiatives across Vauban whilst advising stakeholders and clients alike, as part of our Post Closing team. You will also be collaborating and joining forces with our wider Carta accounting, fund administration and compliance teams on relevant admin issues that relate to Vauban’s products and services.
# Who you are
- Hold a numerical Bachelor’s degree, preferably within Accountancy/Finance
- Have prior work experience in the preparation of accounts or tax filings, within funds would be preferable but not necessary
- Excited to work on wider team projects which are not directly post-close items (e.g. legal, financial) as well as interacting with clients on administering their investment structures.
- High attention to detail: written and quantitative. You must be confident navigating your way around tax structures and documentation in relation to this.
- Organised and calm under pressure, you are able to manage competing demands on your time, whilst persevering to solve ambiguous problems.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about venture capital: you intimately understand the pressures facing our clients and are ready to roll up your sleeves in a post Series-A rocket-ship start-up.
