Full Time: Monday - Friday – 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Full Time: Tuesday - Sat – 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Part Time: Monday - Friday - 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Part Time: Monday - Friday - 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
Rate of Pay
$19.00 per hour
Summary
We are seeking full-time and part-time Service Schedulers with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. This individual will answer calls into the service department, schedule service appointments, answer generic service questions, and complete scanning work. The ideal candidate for this role would be a retired technician, retired service advisor, or a current technician/service advisor who is looking for a role that is lower stress.
Responsibilities
- Answer specific service questions from customers on the phones regarding their upcoming service needs, status of current service, etc
- Price and schedule service appointments using CDK and X-Time
- Schedule loan cars and rental cars.
- Handle customer complaints as needed and direct to the service manager, as needed.
- Operate switchboard telephone system
- Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
- Transfer calls to a service advisor, if necessary
- Complete scanning of repair orders to create electronic records
- Assist the service department with various clerical duties as needed
- Be open to change as this role develops and has additional responsibilities added.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of parts and service needs of vehicles is required.
- Experience within the auto industry, specifically service is preferred.
- Automotive Technician or Service Advisor experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel
- Professional personal appearance and business casual dress code
- Clear and clean driving abstract
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen is required
