HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Digital Creative Director will lead all creative communication and touchpoints across our eComm site, app, email marketing and digital display advertising for Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh and Little Planet. They are responsible for leading a team of designers to curate the expression and experience that aligns with brand and business strategies that drive traffic, sales and brand relevance.
This role will report directly to the Senior Creative Director and will manage a team of 6-8 direct reports. The role is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment with travel to photoshoots as needed.
Creative Concept and Strategy Development - 80%
- Partner and align to facilitate strategic measures that allow creative team to deliver memorable content across all touchpoints that support the brand, create superior customer experiences, and drive traffic.
- Develop channel-specific creative strategies, ensuring GTM, eComm, UX, visual, merchandising and channel marketing teams are aligned with balance of emotion vs. promotion across key touchpoints.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, cross- functional partners and broader creative team in the development of all seasonal campaigns and site experiences.
- Parter closesly with retail Creative Director to develop quarterly marketing design concepts that meet business objectives of the CRI portfolio and that evolve / modernize our brands.
- Develop and manage internal and external teams and partnerships to ensure productive communication, awareness of all goals and initiatives as well as timely completion of projects.
- Work with Art Directors on seasonal lifestyle photoshoots to ensure all needs to the digital space are captured. Provide insights into the point of view for each brand in a digital space and create shot requests for still and video.
- Leverage performance insights and analytics to test new approaches across digital touchpoints, partnering closely with Site Ops, Email and Demand Generation teams to uncover and leverage key learnings that optimize our communications
- Oversee seasonal ‘surge’ teams, as needed, to scale production of key retail or media assets, sourcing and managing external resources during high-volume periods
- Provide strong leadership and communication skills, inspiration and vision, with the ability to accomplish short term and long-term creative/brand and production objectives
Work with UX/UI and Development teams to evolve our CMS templates and refine site structure for creative inputs (20%)
- Work closely with UX/UI, Development and Art Director of Site Experience to develop creative strategies up front with brand Art Directors to create new template systems to be coded into our content management system by quarter that will best fit the creative and promotional needs of the business
- Be highly engaged in best practices for site and research to refine our productivity and commercial appeal in the market

Must Have:
- 7 years creative experience, with minimum 2 years leading a team
- Experience leading a team of creatives
- Strong knowledge of creative trends and tools
- Highly analytical, with an ability to leverage data and insights to inform creative strategies
- Must have experience performing and managing a range of technical creative positions, from including brand, design, art direction, photography, production and digital content
- Demonstrated innovation in variety of media formats
- Must have stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Inspire creativity and work well with different personality types- all while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced real time creative culture
