Wholesale Team Lead

Position Overview:

This team lead level position is responsible for managing a team of Inventory Associates as well as a portfolio of non-retail vehicles. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you'll be doing:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on vehicle trade intake operations and validation procedures
• Partner with Inspection Center staff on all aspects of the Carvana vehicle processes and procedures
• Monitor the transportation of all inbound and outbound wholesale inventory
• Trains and manages the team, providing coaching, feedback and mentorship
• Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
• Active participation in employee relations; regularly communicating and coaching employees
• Regularly participating in recruiting, communicating with external candidates
• Manages daily workload and goals
• Maintains lot integrity by accurately tracking vehicles and ensuring regular upkeep of facilities
• Actively participates in development and growth of the team

What the Job Requires:

To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years)
• Experience supervising/managing a team
• Ability to operate a computer and/or tablet
• Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Ability to frequently stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to frequently drive
• Ability to push and pull in an environment that could be cold, hot, wet or noisy
• Ability and comfort to be around fumes or odors that are from vehicles under maintenance
• Ability to work in various weather conditions such as: rain, snow, heat, etc
