POSITION: School & Student Program Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Director of Finance & Operations
SUPERVISES: Before & After School Care Program Staff
PURPOSE: To consistently and effectively manage and monitor school and student programs
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time
Job Requirements (include but are not limited to):
- Recruit and manage Before & After School Care (BASC) Program and program staff
- Assist in preparation of performance evaluations for BASC staff and program activities
- Plan and coordinate intersession and staff workday camps for students
- Maintain timely and professional communication with families of students enrolled in the BASC Program
- Ensure safety and discipline compliance aligned with school policies
- Monitor student enrollment in the Pre-Kindergarten Program
- Manage bookkeeping functions for BASC and the Pre-Kindergarten Program
- Maintain timely and professional communication with families of students enrolled in the Pre-Kindergarten Program
- Serve as the schools level Parent Faculty Association (PFA) Representative and report updates to school leadership
- Oversee the School Volunteer Program including hosting training and ensuring background check completion
- Provide support to main office staff when needed
- Manage Guest Teacher Program by maintaining an up-to-date and accurate list of available Guest Teachers, ensuring compliance with background checks and requesting support for teachers when needed
- Support the translation of communication to families and the community when appropriate
- Collaborate with the School Level Fund Development contact to support fundraising efforts
- Support the School Leadership Team with staff recruitment and retention efforts by monitoring application portal and arranging interviews when needed
- Collaborate with the School Leadership Team to onboard new staff
- Collaborate with the School Leadership Team on Field Trip Planning/Coordination
Qualifications
Required
- Two-Year Education Related Degree
- Experience in the K-8 School Setting
- Experience in planning/executing school based programs
- CPR/First Aid Certification
Preferred
- Education Related Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual/Biliterate
