SUMMARY: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing resident care and support in all activities of daily living and ensures the health, welfare and safety of all residents.
CNA ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist our residents with activities of daily living including but not limited to: meal services, showers and grooming, assistance with abulation and toileting, patient safety, and charting
- Document all patient care in the electronic medical record system (PCC).
- Provide assistance with maintaining residents' environments.
- Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.
- Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
- Promote the highest level of customer experience at all times when interacting with family members, visitors, and co-workers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with the laws of the state of practice.
- Long term care experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
