ABOUT THE JOB
Operates any die cast and/or trim press machine, as assigned, to cast a variety of aluminum parts.
Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium
Hours: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:20am, Fridays 1:00pm-9:20pm if needed.
SIGN-ON BONUS: Receive $250 after your first 90 days of employment
ATTENDANCE BONUS: Receive $250 for perfect attendance for your first 60 days
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Works from written process sheet to perform any die casting and/or trim machine operation.
- Visually inspect for defects following established procedures.
- Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to proper supervisor.
- Properly complete all required production paperwork per instructions.
- Capable of diagnosing and performing minor repairs on die cast and trim press machines.
- Capable of repairing water, hot oil, and minor hydraulic leaks on die.
- Capable of setting die halves and trim dies.
- Capable of pulling and setting slides.
- Able to put robot in auto mode.
- Able to maneuver through Panel View on auto trim presses.
- Able to operate ladle and recip.
- Perform minor repairs on robot gripper system.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Process Specific Training for Die Cast Operator.
- Such other duties as are assigned from time-to-time.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Knowledge of basic reading and writing.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Required to complete defect recognition training.
