Summary of Position

Coordinate/Plan/Schedule incoming customer sales orders with appropriate tooling, supporting documents, materials, and other needs to facilitate the manufacturing process.

Essential Job Requirements (MINIMUM):

 

· Coordinates activities of drawings and customer requirements, in association with manufacturing products, to support the planning, production, and quality departments of the operation.

· Reviews production orders, schedules, MRP and as directed by internal customers (production, customer service, engineering, etc.), to compile the part data such as part drawings, molds have locations and are available in the operations, and manufacturing orders (M.O.) are scheduled/printed/distributed to meet company’s shipment demands.

· Revise/Create bill of materials (B.O.M.) to meet the desired results for manufacturing of part details.

· File/Scan completed MO’s and pulled documents.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints & specifications.

· Ability to track all work performed and record in manufacturing order (M.O.) as required.

· Provides support to other areas as necessary or required.

 

Responsible for conforming to the company's quality system procedures as documented.

Preforms other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required.

Associate degree or Certified Training with emphasis in planning desired

Or equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years Planning & Scheduling experience required in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Analytical and creative skills to find solutions to problems in a real time environment.

Background in production and manufacturing methods and processes.

Proficient using PC and software applications with knowledge of different types of software use, i.e., MS Windows, MS Access, MS Excel, Internet, and menu driven programs.

Basic math skills with ability to use a calculator.

Able to work in a team environment.

Interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail.

Sense of Urgency.

Ability to interact with a diverse workforce.

MUST BE DEPENDABLE.
