The Resident Care Coordinator supports the Wellness Standards regarding implementation of care plans, training, and communication across departments and third parties. The Resident Services Director is the direct supervisor for care associates.
What Cascade Living and Sierra Place look for in a Resident Care Coordinator:
- Associates degree in a health related field preferred
- 3 or more years experience in the care of senior adults and adults
- Previous supervisory and/or management expereince in healthcare relate setting
- Compassion and desire to work with the elderly
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience in training and associate development
- Must have certification as required by State regulations for activities
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, per state requirements
- Ability to represent the community in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
- High level of ability in effective and succinct communication, written and oral with residents, families, staff, vendors, and general public
- Capable of maintaining fulltime attendance
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB screening
- Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (essential job functions) with or without reasonable accomadation
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
What you can expect to do as a Resident Care Coordinator for Sierra Place:
- Highly visible to the customer and associates
- Recruit and hire care associates to work in the Wellness Department
- Develop and monitor the scheduling of care associates ensuring weekend and holiday coverage with community needs
- Involved in the team recruitment approach for all other positions within the Wellness Department

Salary : $38,500 - $48,800
