Cascadia of Lewiston is hiring LPNs! Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides routine care, observes patients’ health, assists doctors and registered nurses, and communicates instructions to patients regarding. LPNs are responsible for supervising and delegating tasks to the nursing assistants or aides who work under their direction. The LPN evaluates and reports any changes in the residents’ physical or mental condition to the appropriate personnel and maintains the residents’ medical records in a confidential manner.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
- Current valid LPN license in the state employed
- Valid CPR/ BLS certification
Responsibilities & Duties
- Reviews, transcribes, communicates and implements physician orders, obtaining RN signature as required by state regulations.
- Documents care performed and observations of resident status in the clinical record promptly by utilizing standard clinical documentation guidelines as required by the company, and local, state and federal rules and regulations.
- Participates in medication management to promote optimal safety and effectiveness for residents by
- administering medications as ordered, including next scheduled dose following admission/readmission.
- Completes clinical admission paperwork for new admissions.
