Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Technician Manager to lead, manage, and develop our team of floor technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of flooring services, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the floor technician team, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication.
• Recruit, train, and develop new and existing team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members for their professional growth.
• Resolve any conflicts or issues within the team and ensure a harmonious working atmosphere.

2. Service Delivery:

• Ensure that all flooring projects are completed to the highest standards, adhering to industry best practices and client specifications.
• Monitor the quality of work performed by the floor technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

3. Business Development:

• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to secure new contracts and expand the client base.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and promoting repeat business.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies to enhance the company's service offerings and competitiveness.

4. Budget and Resource Management:

• Manage the team's budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
• Monitor project profitability and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Order necessary materials and equipment, ensuring their availability for ongoing projects.

5. Health and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for the team and clients.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or concerns promptly.
• Train team members on safe work practices and ensure they follow established protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a flooring-related field, with at least 2 years in a management position.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and developing a team of floor technicians.
• Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with budget
