POSITION OBJECTIVE
Case Western Reserve University School of Law has a dynamic and nationally recognized experiential education curriculum. In 2022, the School of Law was ranked 5th in the nation for ‘practical training’ by PreLaw Magazine. The Program Manager for Experiential Opportunities will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the experiential education program. The manager will develop and manage capstones, externships, and other experiential education requirements and initiatives, both in the United States and abroad, including the 1L Experience, moot court and mock trial programs, and other community engagement efforts. The manager will provide programmatic and logistical oversight for experiential education opportunities and programs, including development of new opportunities, communication with students and employers, program/event coordination, marketing, and education. The manager represents the experiential education program to internal and external constituents; the latter includes law firms, courts, corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations the country and abroad. The manager is a key member of the experiential education team led by Associate Dean Laura McNally.

CONTACTS
Department: Regular contact with the associate dean for experiential education, law clinic managing attorney, law school staff and faculty.
University: Contact with administrative departments throughout the university as required to perform essential functions.
External: Regular contact with alumni, attorneys, outside organizations, judges, and government officials.
Students: Frequent contact with students regarding experiential education programs and events.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
None.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 3 or more years of experience (advanced degree can count towards that experience). Experience managing programs in an academic environment is preferred. Experience with community service organizations is preferred, whether as an employee or volunteer.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
