Senior Research Associate in Cosmic Microwave Background Instrumentation
This senior research associate would work with the Cosmic Microwave Background experiment group in the Physics department at CWRU, building instruments to measure CMB polarization and analyzing the resulting data. Tasks could include cryogenic detector testing, optical design and validation, performing instrument calibrations, and analyzing on-sky data for cosmological analyses. Experience with relevant experimental and analysis techniques, especially for balloon-borne microwave telescopes is strongly desired.
